The organization of IPACK-IMA 2009 is rushing forward Record figures 11 months from official opening

Nearly 800 exhibiting companies, 60% of available exhibiting space already booked and new exhibitors reaching 23%: these are just some of the figures IPACK-IMA 2009 can boast 11 months from the event, scheduled from March 24th to 28th at Fiera Milano exhibition center.

The next edition of the international exhibition dedicated to technology and materials for packaging, food processing and logistics can also count on other extremely positive signs: compared to the past edition, now companies book their areas earlier; participation from countries outside of Italy is also increasing. A comparison with the same organizational stage as in the 2006 edition shows a 33% increase in subscriptions and twice as many international companies.

In 2009 we will also have the advantage of the co-location with Grafitalia, Converflex and Plast: all together they will create a true ‘cosmic event’, unequalled in the world. The exhibition will thus exert an exceptional appeal, in the efficient and functional setting of Fiera Milano which will be the heart of Expo Milan 2015".

Such optimism is justified by figures and by the massive presence of exhibitors, homogeneously distributed over all industry segments represented by the exhibition: this confirms the validity of "integration", IPACK-IMA’s inspiring philosophy: an event presenting solutions for every phase of the production cycle, processing, packaging and distribution to retail stores. IPACK-IMA is the reference exhibition for Europe and the Mediterranean Basin, home to 900 million consumers; for manufacturers of packaging machinery alone, it generates business for 8 billion euros.

Together with the exhibitor acquisition campaign runs a strong promotional campaign using several tools to attract visitors. Advertisement on trade publications and web sites, road-shows in several countries, presentations in all the most important trade events and direct marketing. The campaign is supported by real-time information on www.ipack-ima.com , providing insight in seven languages about the "work in progress" both on the organization of the event itself and the promotional activity.
